Sky Above
Sky Above looks upward from the ground of former battlefields. Brett placed pinhole and time-lapse cameras directly on the earth, pointing toward the sky, allowing the landscape itself to record what passes overhead. These quiet images reflect the view these places have held through time — the same sky that once witnessed conflict, now moving slowly above them. By sharing this perspective, the work invites us to consider memory, presence, and the silent passage of time over sites shaped by history.
